SCRIPTURES FOR TREADING
Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents
and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy:
and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Three extremely vital and dynamic keys for effectual treading are 1) Be in right standing with God; 2) humble yourself and receive guidance; 3) use kingdom weapons of warfare.
Isaiah 49:2 "And He hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of His hand hath He hid Me, and made Me a polished shaft. In His quiver hath He hid Me.
As Jesus*, Lord of HOSTS, mighty in battle, arm your mouth with the two-edged sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. In spiritual warfare, it is absolutely necessary to use the trigger of your tongue and release the Word of God into the atmosphere. Of a certainty, God knows our thoughts and hears our silent prayer. Why then is it necessary to release the Word into the atmosphere? In spiritual warfare we are not communicating with God; we are engaging the gates of hell and pulling down strongholds of the enemy.
The sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, is the one and only weapon this side of heaven that is EFFECTIVE without fail against Satan, the ruler of this world, known also as the prince of the POWER of the air. Because words cannot be seen with the natural eye, they are spirit "Spiritual warfare" must take place in the spiritual realm. Spoken words are a form of sound; which also cannot be seen, and are spirit. The wind, which cannot be seen with the natural eye, is spirit and the conduit of sound (spoken words).

Psalms 55:15 Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them.
Psalms 56:7 Shall they escape thine iniquity? In thine anger cast down the people O God. (David prays against his enemies)

Psalms 141:10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape.
Jeremiah 17:18 Let them be confounded that persecute me, but let not me be confounded: let them be dismayed , but let not me be dismayed: bring upon them the day of evil, and destroy them with double destruction .
Lamentation 3:65-66 [3:65] Give them sorrow of heart , thy curse unto them. [3:66] Persecute and destroy them in anger from under the heavens of the LORD.
