Comments for Gregg Braden YouTube video on power of belief period
Once again Mr. Braden has done an outstanding job in presenting a wealth of noteworthy scientific knowledge.
Purely as an act of obedience absent an ill spirit of criticism, I am compelled to comment.
John 21:25 King James Version (KJV)
25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.
Even the scrolls do not tell everything Jesus did. It should come as no surprise that anything written by man has been manipulated for whatever reason. Which was known aforehand by God; and which is why we are told to put no confidence in any man. God would not have instructed us to put no confidence in man and then leave us vulnerable to the manipulation or misinterpretation of man.
Neither Gregg nor the Monks has been sent from above. The Kingdom of God is an internal kingdom; each and every treasure of heaven is within us; the keys to the kingdom are not in Egypt, Tibet or any other place on earth. The keys to every heavenly treasure are within us; and are readily available for instant access. The Spirit of Truth was sent by Christ Jesus...to infill and indwell within the Body of Christ Believers... to lead, teach, and guide us (by learned and revealed knowledge)
into -all-truth. All truth goes far, far above and way, way beyond that which is on the Scrolls or recorded in the holy scriptures.
Scripture as recorded in the KJV has much to say about the power of our prayers when expressed with our feelings. We are taught Christ Jesus is touched by the feeling of our infirmities; and the book of James teaches us about the power of our effectual, FRRVENT prayers.
Mr. Braden would have you to believe words are not the prayer. In Isaiah God tells us His Word that goeth forth out of his mouth will not return unto him void.
God is not a set of mathematical equations. The divine formula of God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit/Holy Ghost is "We three are one". Gregg is making the mistake that many who have the learned knowledge, learned wisdom, and learned understanding of the world make... desiring to lock God into the box of their understanding.
